The Resistance

How to play

The Resistance is hidden-roles social deduction. Two teams: the Resistance (most players) wants three successful missions; the Spies (a minority) want three failures — or to sabotage trust so five team votes fail in a row.

Round flow: a Leader proposes a team for the mission. Everyone votes Approve or Reject (tie fails). If rejected, the next Leader proposes. If approved, the team secretly plays one card each: Resistance must play Success; Spies may play Success or Sabotage. The mission fails if it sees enough sabotage cards (missions 4+ with 7+ players need two).

Winning: three successful missions = Resistance wins; three failed missions (or five rejected votes in one round) = Spies win.

Keeping secrets: hold your card to check your role. Spies know each other. Mission cards are anonymous — only counts are ever shown.
